I wish they made more movies like this than any Hollywood motions! Gave me all the chills , the atmosphere of the movie kept me interested at all times , the script was more than expected and the actors ..well I mean.. just go ahead and watch this masterpiece , a true thriller indeed .

The chief of the local police discovers a foot in a pond and starts investigating. At the same time, a young man arrives from Bucharest and spends his first night in the house that belonged to his grandfather. The film explores the emotional and intellectual emptiness of rural mafias and focuses on the antagonism between people who have an education and those who lack honesty, integrity and values, whether they are people from the city or the countryside.

You'd better watch the news and they will tell you the story in one minute. A stupid film elongated to the point you fall asleep. Which is the very point of a "thriller", right? Give it to an American editor to remove the garbage, and you'll get a nice 10-minute Youtube video. Everything is weak about this film: the camera, the direction, the acting. Although the story is empty, there are some lines that would have been the delight of better actors. Only Vlad Ivanov (Samir) manages to create a meaningful character, a villain who makes you wake up. Although his final scene is so bad... Rasputin the 2nd.

And at the end the old policeman (what? 80 or so? why didn't he retire 30 years ago?) walks to the horizon with his shirt undone... Seriously? :)
