If you're a diehard fan of the band like i am, you've probably seen your fair dose of green day interviews floating around the internet. If you want more than that, this is an actual glimpse into the guys recording the albums. It's great. It shows their thought process behind each song and how they went about recording it. There's a bunch of iconic (at least to the green day fandom) jokes and quotes in here. Not to mention the great live performances. However, i rated it a 9/10 because of the odd 9 minute dance choreography during jesus of suburbia...?? Not sure what thats about. But overall, totally worth the watch. Billie joe is a cool guy :)

It's fascinating to watch these guys make one of the most important rock albums of all time (maybe the LAST important rock album?) without them knowing the impact it would have. It's an entertaining behind-the-scenes rockumentary for Green Day fans, but it also serves as a reminder for all artists of the importance of just making stuff regardless of what you think it may be in the end.

I am a Green Day fan, no doubt about it. But this documentary I felt could have been so much better. We basically get to see them perform the album with little tid bits in-between. I would have preferred to have heard more about the songs and seen the recording process a little more. The performances were stella, of course they are, because it's Green Day. Watch if you're a fan.
