I enjoyed to scenery and (most of) the cinematography. There were, however, too many holes in the story and a lack of continuity in the editing to earn my undivided attention. That said, filmmaking is hard work. I'm sure everyone involved learned a lot as they made this, and will add their experience to their next project.
No profanity, no unnecessary characters or situations, and nothing that would prevent you from sitting down with your kids, your mom, or your grandma to watch this one.
The data shows an estimated $2M budget, and I hope they earned every cent of it back on this scenic endeavor.

The less you care, the better it is
Lost in Their Back Yard
As far as being lost - nope, just a know straight line couple of hours boat ride between big towns. How sea, air & land rescue teams could do nothing is not too believable. The trekking by our lost & searching peoples seemed artificial. Acting - not required. A few seconds of fire making using wood friction was dumb.
Not staying in the boat - a made for making a movie decision. Oh, thought it might be "based" on a true story - nope.
Good For Families...And Not Much Else
I wanted to like this. I love wholesome movies and I love dogs, so I figured it would be perfect. Unfortunately, this particular plotline has been done multiple times by better movies. And goodness, the horrible acting from everyone involved was enough to sink this ship. But the dog was adorable, so I'll give it props for that!
