I had to leave a review for this movie after seeing other fake users create accounts just to leave their one bad rating on this movie. Sounds more like haters of the family than someone that actually spends time reviewing movies lol. Anyway, I purchased this movie from ebay as I have many of the Wright Family Films and I enjoyed the faith based horror film as it showed the power of Jesus prevail in the end. I can't stand movies where evil wins. We need more films like this, and to the family people out there, I am sure you will enjoy this as much as I did. I enjoyed the mystery along the way. I think it's a great family choice movie for your teenagers or kids that like scary movies but you don't want to show them anything too horrible.

The camera work, acting, plot, script, concept... It is difficult to find anything to praise apart from the younger daughter, who was far beyond the quality of the others in the cast.

I'm intrigued about the truck of gravel which randomly arrived when they first got to the farm. It appeared out of nowhere, the father shifted a bucket or two in a loader... then it is never mentioned again.

It became a thinly-veiled attempt at pushing religion towards the end. At least I understood that part. And the animals played their part apart from the sheep, who was a bit wooden in his delivery.

Watching the TV after it was turned off was more entertaining.

I'm sure others will argue that the best actors in this childish production are the animals rather than the ghosts, but many of the former seem mechanical, so I'll give the ghosts the honor. And while the acting is poor, the scriptwriting is even worse. Everyone seems to be at their first reading for the part, even needing to explain the story in detail for closed caption audiences as they read and interpret the script. When my nephew was a teenager, I helped him involve various family members to create a haunted bed and breakfast spook movie for our family entertainment. This feels very much like that experience. Still, we had better actors, and we let the story speak for itself! If you don't mind spending a few hours watching dough rise, only to be disappointed in the finished loaf, then go ahead and let this sleeper slice some time out of your life.
