I haven't had laughed this hard in a loooong time and I LOVED it. From start to finish, his material and delivery were as close to perfect as it can get. Punch after punch, joke after joke they landed strongly. Again he did not compromise and went after touchy subjects the way only he can. Classic Louis. (And maybe it was this funny because now he is free from distributors overseeing his work, I dunno.....whatever it is keep it up) I just wish I was in the audience alongside all those other women giving him an standing ovation.

Seriously funny!
Brand Me A Bad Guy...
But I watched this special. I wanted to watch it, I was elated whn I heard there was a new one available on his site and yes, the bad man paid the money and bought it. And I'm glad I did. Jim Gaffagan's most recent special 'Comedy Monster' was really good, as you'd expect from a top comedian. But I forgot how much Louis CK makes me laugh so hard I sometimes gasp for air. You might THINK you've heard all of the takes on covid, the trans community, kids, adoption, B-holes... but face it: You know Louis CK has a much more original and hilarious view on it all. Just watch it and try not to laugh... and let people say you're 'bad' for watching this, all they want because THAT is what they do... all of the time. I can live with the 'shame' and so can you.
Louis running over landmines
Its what he does.
The first couple minutes was stale, half baked. Then.... LCK finds his groove and tackles every impossible topic you can think of. You can tell he's been sitting on his act for a while, it's sharp and to the point. Honestly... this is one of his best sets. It's brilliant, he goes after literally every controversial topic you can think of, and it's entertaining. Great social commentary without being angry, like Chappelle, or bitter like Burr.
LCK is basically the modern day Carlin. His word play isn't the same, not as directly intelligent... Carlin was Carlin... but LCK attacks impossible subjects, like Carlin did. It might not always be laugh inducing, but it's intelligent, entertaining, like Chappelle.
Glad LCK is back, fantastic set. When he is dead and gone, this will go down as one of his best.
