Plot summary

Because she is marrying the man who assumed the mantle of Santa Claus last December 26, Beth's postponed wedding has to be rescheduled for Xmas eve. Overwhelmed by selling the house she and her son share and the prospect of the duties of Mrs. Claus, she has to call on her estranged socialite Grinch of a mother to arrange the wedding. Of course her mom has never met the fiancé nor his family and has no inkling of his secret. This is a sequel to 2004's Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus.

Plot? What plot?

I can understand the appeal of a joyous Christmas movie. I can understand the appeal of having a man become Santa Claus. I can understand the appeal of the Christmas magicbeing saved by the unity of the new santa to the new mrs claus.

So where was it? They seem to like to just randomly skip from scene to scene without care for letting the audience know why. What happened? Why are things a catastrophe one minute and all fixed the next? I still have no idea.

For out of work B-listerers like Steve Guttenberg and Crystal Bernard I can understand this as the next logical career choice. But Mariette Hartley....you used to have so much class.

She must have been crying at the end because her agent couldn't get her a better movie to be in.

It takes more than a red suit and a forced ho-ho-ho to make Christmas Magic.

It was a cute flick

There's just something likeable above Steve Guttenberg. I've seen this guy in alot of films from Police Academy to The Boyfriend School(Don't Tell Her It's Me) to Tower Of Terror to even It Takes Two. Here he plays Nick(son of Santa Claus) who is set to marry Beth at Christmas Eve but will the wedding go ahead thanks to Beth's overbearing mother Jessica?.

Overall it was a cute film. If you seen the the first film then you might enjoy this one as its similar to it. Steve Guttenberg(as I've mentioned before) is a good actor but here his ho ho laugh can be very irritating from time to time.

Watch it during this Xmas season.

One of my top favorites!...along with part 1.

Although this movie was made in 2005, my review is here to say that these Christmas movies (part 1 & 2) are timeless...since they continue to be enjoyable year after year!

The talented Steve Guttenberg and talented Crystal Bernard carried the great plot so well!

I like it because it really stays focused on Christmas...and in a delightful way...and with magic...and with no annoying characters! That is the way GOOD Christmas magic movies are supposed to be.

The plot had a nice flow...not boring at all...all of the players were great...the lines and directing were great.

Thankfully their dialogue was not drowned out by blaring, annoying "music" or atrocious singing...as some other Hallmark Christmas movies are noted for having.

The only one oddity that stood out was Crystal's heavy TN accent...compared to her "mother," who had no accent and spoke ultra-refined. That didn't make any sense.

But in such an enjoyable movie as this...always a pleasure to watch... who cares??
