A new mom moves to town with her hunky husband and teenage daughter. The new mom has a catering baking business. She wants to get her business started in the new town.

The newbie is offered to join the PTA and the competition starts. The head of the PTA is a beautiful stuck up perfectionist. Murders seem to happen around her. Everyone is afraid of her.

Don't get on the wrong side of head of the PTA. The new PTA mom wins a costume contest and immediately gets on the bad side of leader of the PTA. She also starts snooping into the past murders.

Fun movie even if it is a bit cliche. Best acting was the head of the PTA played by Alissa Filoramo.

I was expecting your typical Lifetime thriller with 'Nightmare PTS Moms' but it actually had a nice mix of comedy in it that isn't in a lot of other thrillers on the network. It's about a couple that moves to a new town with their daughter. The mother joins the school's PTA after meeting a charismatic Vanessa who turns out to be nuts. The whole story was believable because I could totally see this all playing out in real life (which definitely isn't always the case). I thought the chemistry between Gail and Chloe was strong as far as mother and daughter relationships go. There are plenty of other movies with a similar-ish plot, but I'd say it's got enough going for it that it's worth the watch :)
