Madison goes about her daily life, she works at a bakery but we only ever see her there one time in this film and even then she dosnt really work. Anyway her mother is with this new guy but he comes with an attachement. He has a daughter called devon and straight away you get bad vibes from her.her friend gia even can see that that woman looks like a bit of a psychopath. The acting is pretty bad I have to say especially the actress playing devon. The plot has an alright flow but it does become a little boring through it but once we find out whats going on it does become a little better. Overall not great but still a wathable film.

I hate to give negative reviews but this film really is not worth the 10 some are giving it. At all. The main issue is the step daughter and step father and their acting, which was wooden at best. It really got in the way, for me anyway, of enjoying the film. The story line has unfortunately been seen many, many times before. I could predict every single aspect of it, which is not good. There needs to be some element of surprise and of caring about the characters but I got neither. I know the step daughter had to be sinister but that doesn't mean she has to be so stilted in her acting. She either is a poor actress if she didn't do the role justice, it could have been so much more sinister.

From the start to finish this movie is a piece of crap.

The stepfather in this is completely unbelievable and wooden. Looking like a paid for smiling Jack with the personality of a brick.

And the predictability of the plot is so ridiculous and you can see what's coming next from a mile away.

Add the typical stupid defective detective and not following procedures coming off like your typical sloped headed backwards facing knuckles dragging across the pavement Neanderthal with the intelligence quotient of a eggplant.

And where does lifetime find these bread loaf head none acting morons? The boyfriend acting is as bad as the stepfather when it comes to wooden and stale.

Word to the wise, bypass lifetime movie.
