This movie, about the life of Swedish pop star Ted Gärdestad, is a good biography movie!

I guess I have heard the name of Ted Gärdestad a long time ago, but not that I knew who he was. However, I think it was nice to get to know his story.

As a movie, it is not without its flaws. The movie begins its story with the protagonist, Ted Gärdestad, as a 14-year old boy playing tennis with a desire of music. What comes to my mind is the age gap between the main character and its actor, Adam Pålsson (as Ted Gärdestad), who was 30 years old in 2018. That makes me confused if the movie tries to be funny or serious because the 16-year gap is ridiculous - it is hard to interpret what the movie wants us to think. Also, the movie is quite stretched with some pacing issues, as well as some poor writing.

However, I think it is a worthy tribute in the end. The age gap is not Pålsson's fault, and I think he performs great, especially in the music scenes. The story is both beautiful and tragic, leading to an early death. This somewhat challenges us as an audience, especially if you are a fan of Ted Gärdestad, and the movie is mostly visually enjoyable with nice remakes of the music that can offer love vibes.

Despite some pacing and casting issues, this movie ultimately delivers a poignant tribute to a beloved Swedish artist. Pålsson shines in his portrayal of Ted Gärdestad, particularly in the music scenes. The movie's exploration of the beautiful yet tragic life of the singer is both captivating and heartbreaking, making it a worthwhile watch for fans and newcomers alike.

Doesn't matter if you're ted fan or not this movie will make you one!

Adam Pålsson is great at portraying Ted as it's a difficult task to do but he doe's it greatly! Sidenote I also like that he sings Ted songs cause he has an good voice to for that!

I just love this movie and I think they manage to do Ted justice by showing all his life and his ups and downs. The mental sickness is handled in a very interesting and beautiful way in my opinion!

I also feel like every actor give their everything to the character.

If you didn't know anything about Ted you will have learned everything after watching this movie.
