A great, original premise is given (twice) which sets up the film to be an interesting 97 minutes. However I got halfway through and it seemed we, as the audience, were also trapped in this infinite loop along with the characters. It didn't really go anywhere and the half-arsed and long-winded explanation at the end failed to save it and wasn't really necessary. What a shame as the way it was initially heading felt like it was to be quite something.

First of all. I want to give props for the innovation. Nowadays movie industry is prertty bastard-ized. But I won't get into that matter.

Many of people surely didn't understand it. Is not that easy. Also not that hard. But you need ot pay a lot of attention at the end. Is a godo idea.

I liked the part where they explain that middle-age people will keep active to give the children more happiness. That is why always children are more happy. If that paralel universe ever exists it makes totally sense. And that old people are not that good at enoying and live in the past. Is natural. It happens to me.

Yes.. the acting is not great. It's mediocre but.. people that put 1-3 points, maybe they should go for a more popcorn-movies like Avengers or some understandable movie. Not for thinking.

I understand the negative reviews, as this movie is bleak and at times visually disturbing, however it certainly stays with you for a long time after viewing - which is more than can be said for a lot of modern movies.

It's a Kafka-esque mindtwister, and there are no unicorns and rainbows. It quite literally portrays what would happen to a few humans, some related, some complete strangers, mentally and physically if they were trapped in a spacial, but not temporal, loop.

If you want neat and happy endings, on-message moralising, famous comforting faces, this is not for you. It's not high-budget, and it's not going to win any Oscars, but it's an interesting idea, portrayed with terrifying realism. It's claustrophobic, limited settings are more akin to a screenplay, though the Mexican hills certainly make for a hauntingly beautiful backdrop to the road story.

If you like Borges, PKD, glitch_in_the_matrix, etc., certainly check it out, you won't be un-entertained. But be warned, it's... pretty weird.
