Not a biblical movie.

Not a biblical movie. Featured spells and magic. I don't know what the writers were thinking. The only thing biblical about this movie was that he was Solomon "son of David". I typically don't write reviews but had to for this fraudulent movie.

The only reason I gave it three stars is because it did not have that poor of picture. So it was watchable to the end. I like to show my small child faith based movies about the Bible to reach them bible stories and about character.

If you want to just make good kid movies leave it at that , but don't try to profit off the Bible. / Christians. I am Highly disappointed and Would not recommend to my family or friends.

This isn't from the Old Testament - it's from the Babylonian Talmud

The other review with loads of likes hasn't recognised there was tons of other ancient literature about King Solomon outside of the Old Testament.

The main story used here - Solomon and Ashmedai - is (I think) the same one as in in the Munich Codex (c.1340AD) but it should also be familiar from the Quran and the 1001 Nights.

And it's a pretty faithful adaptation of that (if you don't mind the device of using a talking animal commentator), and it's beautifully animated.
