Incredible history about basketball NOT ONLY for sports fans

A must see- not only for basketball fans, but for all who are interested in the civil rights movement. A real glimpse of what life was like in the 1960s.

The Loyola Project is NOT just a great sports story. It is not just an incredible story about NCAA basketball in the ealy 1960s. It is an excellent documentary that reveals events in our country's past that many people may not recall or be aware of. The courage of individuals like those in this documentary, is what makes our country great.

It is important that stories like these are documented and preserved for future generations and to acknowledge the courage of the individuals who have gone before us.

An Absolute Triumph

I saw THE LOYOLA PROJECT last night at Loyola Chicago, and this film is an absolute triumph of filmmaking. The cinematography, sound design, animation and voiceover work from Lucas Williamson hook you in the beginning and never let go. This is an incredibly important story and I'm thrilled it's being told through such a miraculous documentary. I was in tears by the end.
