I was very keen to see this slice of "Orpington Noir" , following its positive reviews on here and other media but , despite nicely claustrophobic photography & fine performances by Timothy West and , particularly , Amanda Abbington as a detestable care worker, I found the script disjointed and distinctly overwrought - given its allegedly realistic format. The time frame and age of Timothy West's character was also a fair way away from being remotely plausible. A shame but I have to say that I found it underwhelming and disappointing for me and certainly not something I would want to see again or recommend to anyone, sadly.
Plot summary

A truly wonderful, thought - provoking, powerful film. The storyline is utterly genius and you're captivated from the start. Each character is extremely well developed and there are no loose ends. Thoroughly enjoyable, if not a little heart-breaking. I love it.
