Flawed Story of Conspiracy Theory with a Messy Screenplay

Agent Larson (Jon Briddell) interviews the dissident Anya Popolovski (Lana Gautier) to know the whereabouts of former CIA Agent Timothy Daniels (Kaiwi Lyman). She tells that in 1963, a Soviet missile is sent to the United States to begin a nuclear war. Daniels, who has been living in the Soviet Union for more than five years, succeeds in destroying the missile in the last minute. Nikita Khrushchev claims that his system was hacked and demands USA to withdraw missiles from Turkey in 72 hrs. Meanwhile, Daniel, who was assigned to assassinate Anya's father, Commander Alexi Popolovski (Corey MacIntosh), receives a counterorder to bring his family and he to the United States. However, the grey eminence Arthur Blackmark (Jeff Hatch), who is a military industrialist, is manipulating the situation and plans to assassinate of President Kennedy to stop the crisis."Blackmark" (2018) is a confusing thriller, with a flawed story of conspiracy theory and a messy screenplay. The plot does not develop any characters that are thrown on the screen without any explanation. Based on the exposed conspiracy theory, why would President Kennedy be showing off in Dallas while a crisis that could destroy the world is happening. The technology seems to be ahead of time (60's). The viewer is lost with several names without knowing who they are and their motives. My vote is three.Title (Brazil): "A Marca Negra" ("The Black Mark")

Overcomplex, redundant, pretentious and forgettable flick...

When a Hollywood production is going absolutely nowhere, you at least hope they get there fast, getting you out of your misery.... The story is a royal mess, going from one unclear spot to another which makes it impossible to find the viewing experience attractive. But the real showstopper here is the often rushed, awful acting which sucks the reality out of every scene before you even THINK of identifying with the characters! Just another waste of effort, capital and time....theirs....and ours! Advice; avoid when encountered, refuse to watch when invited or delete when accidentally downloaded...
