Plot summary

The Homelessness Crisis Deserves Better Acknowledgment

To call this script half baked would be a compliment well beyond what would be accurate, it is quarter baked at best.It succeeds in making the audience empathetic but that is the most it accomplishes, the same effect can be achieved in reading an article about problems faced by the homeless and causes of it, which simultaneously appears to be the most research done by these writers. It has its moments but they are almost all at the end and they really aren't earned, neither do they achieve the desired effect they think it does.My review gives this 3 stars, two of which come from half of the box office proceeds going towards assisting the homeless, I can always respect a studio practicing what they preach. And the other star is for the acting despite a script desolate of character depth and proper substance, it fails in all other regards.

Am I My Brothers Keeper?

Movie reviews in some ways are like Rorschach responses reflecting the reviewers observational skills, capacity to integrate, and the nature of their mind and heart in reflection. When one critical review of 'No Address' seems to overlook the significance of military service of some principle characters, that means something. In this social climate today where many benevolent phenomenon are under attack, who wants to see a movie about the homeless. Who cares, right? 'Am I my brothers keeper?' some may ask. In my humble opinion, it is not the mission of 'No Address' to offer, or provide, solutions to the growing crisis. That is too much to ask. Rather, this film provides a breathtaking glimpse into sequences of events that bring some together at one point in time. The callousness of attitudes toward the homeless by some is tactfully shown, but not overdone. Nevertheless, survival instinct dictates, when you can't be with the ones you love, love the (safe) ones you're with. A silver lining of this timely, poignant, simply wonderful film is that individuals having a heart and caring about each other can matter a whole lot. It's a cinematic journey into an abyss where some light continues to shine, ultimately revealing what the world needs now is love, sweet love, no not just for some, but for everyone. This cake is baked just right. I believe 'No Address' is a beautiful 5 star movie for the ages.
