Interesting but very slow moving

A man is seeing a professional Mistress regularly as a slave but it never has the enjoyment of a former Mistress he hasn't seen in years he still yearns for. He starts to develop a relationship with the new mistress outside of professional circumstances.The characters are interesting. The story is interesting. The acting is very good. Unfortunately, this film often moves so slowly it's almost painful. It also has a couple of side plots (a mayoral election and the man's mother) that wasted too much time on.The BDSM is not the main focus. It does help tie the characters together.I like this movie but unfortunately some times it would start to bore me before getting interesting again.
